CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese is known as the place Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually while maintaining a strong commitment to safety through initiatives like Kid Check®. The company has also contributed more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, underscoring its dedication to community support. In addition, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its industry leadership in innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza provides a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food, engaging entertainment, and lifelong memories, emphasizing the slogan "The Fun is Baked In!" Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza promote physical wellness and motor skills development in children through various play attractions. CEC Entertainment prides itself on fostering a culture of diversity and inclusivity, celebrating fun and play as unifying experiences for families.
The role currently hiring at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within the company's no-fry kitchen environment. These positions are ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in a renowned family entertainment company. Employees, called Cast Members, are empowered through cross-training in various positions to provide exceptional service. Over 60% of managers at CEC Entertainment are promoted from within, showcasing the company’s commitment to career development and growth.
As a Food Prep or Pizza Maker, you will help feed the fun by preparing food orders like pizzas, salads, and wings, assisting with kitchen prep, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality food in a timely manner. This role does not involve frying, focusing instead on straightforward and healthy preparation methods. You will work in a dynamic and fun environment with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and lively noises, engaging with guests and fellow team members to create a memorable experience for families.
CEC Entertainment's pay structure includes competitive wages and a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees immediate access to their earned wages without waiting for the next paycheck. For commission-earning positions, exempt employees can earn between $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. These commissions are typically paid bi-weekly unless local laws dictate otherwise.
In addition to competitive pay, employees enjoy numerous benefits such as a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, a Perks and Discounts program, and an Employee Referral Program. The CEC Cares Fund also provides financial assistance to employees during emergencies or catastrophes, fostering a supportive work culture focused on employee well-being.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be at least 16 years old (subject to local regulations), available for various shifts, possess excellent customer service skills, and maintain an energetic and enthusiastic personality. Physically, the job requires the ability to lift or carry objects weighing 0 to 50 pounds and perform activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Additionally, job stress management and effective interaction with guests and co-workers are essential.
CEC Entertainment upholds rigorous health and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of both guests and employees. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. This role offers an opportunity to join a vibrant, inclusive, and fun workplace that values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
