Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, creating a fun and memorable environment for kids and families to eat, play, and celebrate special moments. Chuck E. Cheese, in particular, is known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," hosting over half a million birthdays annually and dedicated to ensuring joyful and lasting memories through their fun-filled venues. Beyond entertainment, the brand prioritizes safety with initiatives such as Kid Check® and actively contributes to community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. The company further distinguishes itself through industry leadership, having received the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this family-friendly atmosphere with a neighborhood pizzeria experience, focusing on quality food, engaging entertainment, and creating lifelong memories where "The Fun is Baked In." Together, these brands promote play, wellness, and skill development in children through various attractions and activities.
CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates fun and community bonding. Their work environment reflects a commitment to safety, health, and sanitation with rigorous standards designed to meet or surpass local requirements, ensuring the wellbeing of both guests and employees.
The role available is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers, essential positions in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and helping serve delicious food to guests. This position is particularly welcoming for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Employees in this role are cross-trained across different positions and empowered to deliver outstanding service. Notably, more than 60% of managers have risen from within the company, demonstrating strong opportunities for career growth and development.
Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers support the team by preparing orders and assisting with food preparation, focusing on no-fry kitchen offerings such as pizza, salads, and wings. This role requires individuals to be energetic, enthusiastic, and customer-service oriented, contributing to the vibrant and fun atmosphere that Chuck E. Cheese is celebrated for.
Employment at CEC Entertainment comes with competitive hourly pay, ranging from $15.00 to $16.50, and commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales. Both exempt and non-exempt employees benefit from commission programs with bi-weekly payouts. Additionally, employees have access to the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing for accelerated access to earned wages, thereby providing financial flexibility.
Benefits at CEC Entertainment include a robust package featuring health insurance options such as medical, dental, and vision, life and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan for eligible U.S. employees. The company also offers flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts, and an employee referral program. The CEC Cares Fund further provides support to employees facing catastrophes. Overall, CEC Entertainment provides not only a workplace but a community dedicated to career growth, diversity, inclusion, and fun.
