This job opportunity is within CEC Entertainment’s vibrant culture, which champions diversity, inclusion, and fun to unite every family. The company is hiring for positions such as Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers, roles essential to the smooth operation of their kitchen facilities. This position is designed for individuals who are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to a no-fry kitchen environment. The role involves preparing orders including pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring that the quality and safety standards of Chuck E. Cheese are met. Employees benefit from a competitive hourly wage of $17.75 - $18.75, along with commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales, incentivizing excellent customer service and sales performance.
Employees are empowered to participate in the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing them access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional pay cycle. The role also promises flexible scheduling to accommodate various needs, making it ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a meaningful career in a family-friendly entertainment setting. Chuck E. Cheese fosters an inclusive work environment where over 60% of managers have been promoted from within, highlighting the company’s commitment to career development and internal growth.
Working as a Kitchen Prep or Pizza Maker at CEC entails physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The environment includes flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, reflecting the dynamic nature of the entertainment and food preparation setting. The company also adheres to rigorous health, sanitation, and safety standards to protect both employees and guests. Moreover, CEC Entertainment values its workforce’s diversity and provides reasonable accommodations to employees with disabilities to ensure everyone can perform their essential job functions successfully.

The CEC Cares Fund offers support during personal catastrophes, illustrating a deep commitment to employee welfare beyond the workplace. The company is an equal opportunity employer that maintains a discrimination-free hiring process and fosters respect for all individuals regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or any federally protected class.
