Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, making it one of the most beloved family entertainment destinations in the United States and beyond. Chuck E. Cheese is renowned for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and is deeply committed to creating joyful and lasting memories for children and families through engaging fun, delicious food, and interactive play experiences. Through thoughtful programs like Kid Check® to ensure safety, and substantial community support exceeding $24 million in donations to schools and nonprofits, CEC Entertainment positions itself as a trusted community partner and an innovator in family entertainment. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, testifying to its industry leadership in innovation, educational excellence, and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza, another key brand under CEC Entertainment, emphasizes a neighborhood pizzeria experience enhanced by quality food, engaging entertainment, and creating lifelong memories by embedding fun into every aspect of the guest experience. Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza offer attractions that champion play, foster physical wellness, and enhance motor skills development in children, thereby supporting the growth and happiness of families in communities across the nation and internationally.
CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spread over 45 states and 18 countries. The company proudly promotes a culture of inclusivity, encouraging diversity and celebrating fun and play as unifying forces for families.
The role available at CEC Entertainment is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to join a dynamic team in a family-friendly environment. Currently, the company is hiring Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers to help deliver the quality food service and fun experience that guests expect. This position is a non-fry kitchen environment, focusing on the preparation of pizzas, salads, and wings, with no deep-frying involved. It is an ideal role for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to build their career within a supportive company that promotes from within—over 60% of the managers began their careers as entry-level Cast Members. Employees benefit from the company's innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, which allows access to earned wages quickly, flexible schedules, competitive pay, and a comprehensive suite of perks and benefits.
Food Prep and Pizza Makers will enjoy a fast-paced, supportive work environment where they will be cross-trained in various positions and empowered to provide excellent customer service. The role requires moderate physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving often throughout shifts, and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. In return, employees receive benefits including a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, employee referral programs, and the CEC Cares Fund for assistance during emergencies. This opportunity is perfect for energetic, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and serving families to create memorable experiences in a fun, safe environment.
