CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. With a vision to unite families through fun and play, the company fosters a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and employee growth. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines quality food and engaging entertainment to create memorable moments for families and communities. Both brands emphasize activities that promote physical wellness and motor skill development for kids through various attractions, reinforcing the company's mission to be a leader in the family entertainment space.
This job opportunity is specifically for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese. These roles are pivotal in feeding the fun by preparing delicious orders and assisting with kitchen operations in a no-fry kitchen environment. The kitchen preparation involves handling pizzas, salads, and wings with easy prep methods that avoid frying. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers looking to start their careers or individuals seeking new opportunities for advancement within a supportive company. The company promotes from within, with over 60% of managers having grown through internal promotion, reflecting the strong career progression opportunities available.
The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.90 to $18.90 and includes commission potential for membership and Fun Pass sales, paid out bi-weekly. Employees benefit from a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows immediate access to earned wages without waiting for the conventional paycheck cycle. The company also provides flexible scheduling to accommodate different lifestyles and commitments. Additional perks include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, employee referral programs, and a CEC Cares Fund that supports employees during times of catastrophe.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and have an energetic and enthusiastic personality. The role requires the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting throughout the shift. The work environment may include flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, and employees must be able to manage job-related stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment is committed to equal employment opportunities and considers qualified applicants regardless of race, ancestry, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected classes. The company also complies with local, state, and federal laws regarding background checks when necessary. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
