CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a trusted name in family fun and food. Known for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, the company is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through safe, engaging environments focused on fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese is famously known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," emphasizing its commitment to safety with programs like Kid Check®, and demonstrating community support through over $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. Awards such as “Best in STEM” and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025 highlight CEC Entertainment's industry leadership in innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience centered around quality food, engaging entertainment, and creating lifelong memories. This brand champions play by incorporating fun activities designed to promote physical wellness and strengthen motor skills in kids, perfectly complementing the family-friendly atmosphere at all CEC locations. The company thrives on fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, celebrating the power of fun and play to unite families and communities across the globe.
CEC Entertainment is currently hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers and individuals looking to develop a career with a company that prioritizes employee growth and internal promotion. Cast Members are empowered through comprehensive cross-training across various positions, enhancing skill sets and building a rewarding career path—over 60% of managers at CEC were promoted from within. The kitchen roles specifically focus on preparing orders and assisting with food prep in a no-fry kitchen environment, specializing in easy prep items such as pizza, salads, and wings. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented position where enthusiasm and energy are highly valued.
Employment with CEC Entertainment includes flexible scheduling to fit diverse availability needs, and a competitive pay structure featuring a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees quick access to their earned wages, eliminating the wait between paychecks. Both exempt and non-exempt employees have commission potential based on sales of memberships and fun passes, paid out bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise. Additional perks include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarship opportunities, participation in company-wide perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and access to the CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during personal catastrophes.
CEC Entertainment ensures a safe and health-conscious work environment with rigorous health and sanitation standards designed to surpass local requirements. The physical demands of the job include lifting 0-50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting throughout shifts. The environment can include flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities to enable essential job functions.
CEC Entertainment is deeply committed to equal opportunity employment. The company values a diverse workforce reflecting the broad spectrum of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of guests served across their venues. As such, no discrimination is made based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disabilities, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local laws.
