As a company committed to innovation and employee well-being, CEC Entertainment was awarded the "Best in STEM" accolade in 2025 and recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces. This acknowledgment highlights its leadership role in the entertainment and family dining industry.
Chuck E. Cheese is famous for its welcoming atmosphere where kids can be kids, blending entertainment, food, and play. The company’s commitment to safety is exemplified by initiatives like the Kid Check® program, and its community involvement is demonstrated through donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience that integrates quality food with engaging entertainment and a focus on family bonding and physical wellness. Both brands under CEC Entertainment champion play and activity to support the physical development and joy of children.
Hiring at CEC Entertainment is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for their first job or a rewarding career path in food and entertainment. The company fosters career growth by cross-training employees in a variety of positions, empowering them with skills and experiences that prepare them for advancement. Over 60% of managers have been promoted from within, demonstrating the company's dedication to nurturing talent.
The current openings are for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles, critical positions that contribute to Chuck E. Cheese's mission of feeding fun and providing excellent customer service. These roles involve preparing orders, assisting with food prep, and maintaining a no-fry kitchen environment specializing in pizza, salads, and wings. The hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 with lucrative commission potentials on membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees quicker access to earned wages.
The job environment demands physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and interacting with guests and coworkers in settings with flashing lights and loud noises. Employees are supported with competitive pay, meal discounts, scholarships, flexible schedules, referral programs, and assistance funds for emergencies. CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, ensuring opportunities for all qualified applicants regardless of all protected classes.
