Job Requirements
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces
- ability to reach bend stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in both cold freezer and hot kitchen environments
- comply with company appearance and uniform standards
- basic kitchen skills such as washing chopping and food preparation
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- good communication skills
- ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- own the dishwashing process to ensure all utensils and service ware are cleaned sanitized and stocked
- prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables cutting meat
- undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces parboiling food
- prepare simple dishes such as salads entrees
- maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes sanitizing surfaces
- perform other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty
- comply with all company standards related to appearance and uniform standards
