Job Description

OTH Hotels Resorts is a distinguished hospitality company dedicated to redefining the guest experience through genuine, unscripted hospitality. As part of an innovative hospitality group, OTH Hotels Resorts operates a collection of upscale hotels and resorts that prioritize human connection over scripted service. The company embraces a culture where employees are empowered to bring authenticity and personal care to their roles, ensuring each guest interaction is unique and memorable. With a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment, OTH Hotels Resorts offers opportunities for growth, creativity, and collaboration within the hospitality industry.

The role of Food Prep Cook at OTH Hotels Resorts is more than a standard kitchen position; it is an essential part of delivering the hospitality experience that the brand stands for. This role requires an individual who is passionate about culinary arts and food preparation, someone who treats every dish as a craft and contributes actively to the warm atmosphere guests experience. The Food Prep Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to standardized recipes and the chef's instructions, ensuring consistency, care, and creativity in every plate. The position demands not only technical skills in cooking but also a strong sense of organization, cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork.

Working under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, the Food Prep Cook assists with large-batch cooking, mise en place, and event support, particularly in banquet settings and high-volume kitchen environments. This role involves supporting smooth service periods by replenishing supplies and assisting in plating, maintaining the kitchen stations, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with front-of-house teams and adapt to the fast-paced, deadline-driven nature of hospitality kitchens.

At OTH Hotels Resorts, the Food Prep Cook embodies the Unscripted Hospitality mindset, transforming routine food preparation tasks into a meaningful part of the guest experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow culinary skills, gain valuable kitchen experience, and be part of a team that values professionalism, respect, and a positive workplace culture. OTH Hotels Resorts encourages flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

If you have a passion for cooking, a detail-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering excellent hospitality through culinary craftsmanship, this role at OTH Hotels Resorts is an excellent fit. Here, your efforts not only contribute to the quality of food served but also to the overall satisfaction and lasting memories of guests. Join OTH Hotels Resorts to start your next chapter in a supportive, empowering, and vibrant hospitality setting where your culinary talents are celebrated and your work makes a real difference.
