Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or cooking roles
- valid food handler certification or ability to obtain certification
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
- ability to use knives and kitchen tools safely
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform manual tasks and stand for long durations
- willingness to adhere to company safety protocols

- experience in cooking or a related position
- knowledge of fundamental principles of food preparation and different cooking methods
- understanding of essential food safety regulations including food handling, hygiene, and storage protocols
- certification of compliance with food safety standards
- basic math skills and numerical counting proficiency

- physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- prepare a variety of dishes according to set production guidelines and standardized recipes
- gather all necessary ingredients and equipment at the workstation
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as part of ingredient preparation
- operate machinery such as baking ovens, stoves, slicing tools, and mixing devices safely
- engage in culinary practices like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming food items
- assemble, decorate, and divide food according to existing standards
- store food safely by following food safety policies and guidelines
- clean and disinfect work areas, machinery, and tools
- uphold excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
- follow safety guidelines to maintain precise food safety and sanitation measures
