Job Requirements

  • prior experience in food preparation
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • certification in food handling preferred
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and standing

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cooking or related position
  • knowledge of fundamental food preparation principles
  • understanding of various cooking methods
  • familiarity with food safety regulations including handling, hygiene, and storage
  • certification or proven compliance with food safety standards
  • basic math and numerical skills
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • gather necessary ingredients and equipment
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
  • operate kitchen machinery like ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • bake, roast, broil, and steam food items
  • assemble, decorate, and portion food
  • store food safely following food safety policies
  • clean and disinfect work areas and equipment
  • maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • follow safety and sanitation guidelines
