Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food preparation or cooking
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to use kitchen tools and machinery safely
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • physical ability to perform demanding kitchen tasks
  • willingness to comply with all safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • experience in cooking or related positions
  • knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • compliance with food safety standards and certification
  • capability in basic math functions and numerical counting
  • strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
  • physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods

Job Duties

  • prepare a variety of dishes according to set production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • gather necessary ingredients and equipment at the workstation
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items safely
  • operate kitchen machinery such as ovens, stoves, slicing tools, and mixers
  • employ cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • assemble, decorate, and divide food according to standards
  • clean and disinfect work areas, machinery, and tools
  • follow food safety policies and safety guidelines
  • maintain positive attitude with guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
  • protect company valuables by adhering to security protocols
