Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or culinary roles
- food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- physical stamina to carry out demanding kitchen tasks
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- experience in cooking or related position
- knowledge of food preparation principles and cooking methods
- understanding of food safety regulations including handling, hygiene, and storage
- compliance with food safety standards and certification
- capability in basic math and numerical counting
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- prepare dishes according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- gather ingredients and equipment
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
- use kitchen tools safely including knives
- operate baking ovens, stoves, slicing tools, mixing devices
