Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or culinary roles
  • certification in food safety or hygiene preferred
  • ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
  • excellent communication skills

  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in cooking or a related position
  • knowledge of fundamental food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • certification or proven compliance with food safety standards
  • basic math and numerical counting skills
  • strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to set production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • gather all necessary ingredients and equipment at the workstation
  • measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as part of ingredient preparation
  • operate machinery such as baking ovens, stoves, slicing tools, and mixing devices
  • engage in diverse culinary practices including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • assemble, decorate, and divide food according to existing standards
  • safely store food following food safety policies and guidelines
  • purge and disinfect work areas, machinery, and tools
  • uphold excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
