Job Requirements

- physical ability to handle tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing
- certification in food safety or willingness to obtain it
- ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- excellent communication skills

- experience in cooking or related positions
- knowledge of fundamental food preparation principles
- understanding of cooking methods and food safety regulations including food handling, hygiene, and storage
- certification or compliance with food safety standards
- basic math skills and numerical counting proficiency
- strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and prolonged standing
Job Duties
- prepare a variety of dishes according to set production guidelines and standardized recipes
- gather all necessary ingredients and equipment at the workstation
- perform activities like measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- use a diverse range of tools safely including knives
- operate machinery such as baking ovens, stoves, slicing tools, mixing devices
- engage in culinary practices like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- assemble, decorate, and portion food according to standards
- safely store food following food safety policies
- clean and disinfect work areas, machinery, and tools
- maintain a positive attitude and uphold excellence in customer service
- follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure food safety and sanitation
- protect company valuables
