In this role, the Food Operations Manager 2 will lead a team of approximately 14 employees, including front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, training, and development. The manager will collaborate closely with culinary leaders to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation while managing inventory, scheduling, and cost control processes. Key operational responsibilities include maintaining rigorous financial controls such as cash handling and cost management, driving merchandising and presentation standards, and supporting catering events and special projects that enhance the client experience. This position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm, with very rare evening or weekend shifts, offering a balanced work-life environment.

Sodexo values diversity and inclusion, fostering an inclusive workplace where every employee’s unique contributions are recognized and respected. This commitment aligns with their core mission to create a better everyday for their clients and communities. New employees receive comprehensive information about their compensation packages, which are competitive and reflect individual qualifications and experience. Benefits at Sodexo include medical, dental, and vision care programs, wellness initiatives, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off holidays, and opportunities for career growth and tuition reimbursement.

Joining Sodexo as a Food Operations Manager 2 represents a compelling career step for individuals with a passion for hospitality and operational excellence in food service management. Candidates will find an environment rich in opportunity to contribute meaningful leadership, innovate service delivery, and engage with a leading global provider committed to quality and sustainability in food service.
