Job Requirements
- Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates, such as CPR certification and/or First Aid training
- Must obtain an RBS training certification within 60 days of employment as per Assembly Bills 1221 (2017) and 82 (2020)
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to adapt to loud and continuous high noise levels
- Ability to psychologically manage a casino environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Coordinate communication between cooks and servers to ensure timely, accurate food delivery
- Review each plate for presentation, portion accuracy, and adherence to restaurant standards
- Organize and prioritize incoming tickets to maintain efficient service
- Call out orders clearly and consistently to kitchen staff
- Ensure modifications, allergies, and special requests are executed correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and pass
- Assist with running food during peak periods
- Support kitchen and service teams with problem-solving during busy shifts
