Job Description

The hiring organization is a dynamic establishment operating within a vibrant casino environment, where a diverse clientele enjoys gaming, dining, and entertainment. This company stands out for maintaining exceptional standards in both its front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that guests receive a seamless and enjoyable experience. With a strong focus on teamwork, safety, and quality service, the company upholds rigorous operational standards and maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work atmosphere to meet the demands of a bustling casino setting. Operating in a full-time capacity, the establishment offers opportunities for individuals looking to start or grow their careers in hospitality with less than one year of experience required and without additional bonus or commission incentives.

The company is currently seeking a Food Expediter who plays a vital role in bridging communication between the kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure every dish prepared meets the highest quality standards and reaches guests quickly and accurately. This role is instrumental in maintaining the flow of service during peak hours and coordinating timely food deliveries. The Food Expediter acts as the communication hub by clearly calling out orders, reviewing each dish for presentation and portion control, and confirming modifications or special requests are fulfilled properly. Additionally, this role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the expo line, assisting with running food, and supporting both kitchen and service personnel to resolve issues during busy shifts.

This full-time position is ideally suited for individuals with strong communication abilities, excellent multitasking skills, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure in a high-energy environment. Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but candidates with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn may be considered. Understanding food safety and sanitation practices, along with a team-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction, are key to succeeding in this role. Candidates must also be prepared to comply with government-required certifications and licenses, including responsible beverage service (RBS) training within 60 days of employment. The role demands a high degree of physical activity, such as standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering equipment in a setting that often features loud and continuous noise. Overall, this position offers a comprehensive entry point into the hospitality industry within an exciting casino venue where teamwork and service excellence are paramount.
