Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates, such as CPR certification and/or First Aid training
  • Must obtain an RBS training certification within 60 days of employment as per Assembly Bills 1221 (2017) and 82 (2020)
  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to adapt to loud and continuous high noise levels
  • Ability to psychologically manage a casino environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
  • Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Coordinate communication between cooks and servers to ensure timely, accurate food delivery
  • Review each plate for presentation, portion accuracy, and adherence to restaurant standards
  • Organize and prioritize incoming tickets to maintain efficient service
  • Call out orders clearly and consistently to kitchen staff
  • Ensure modifications, allergies, and special requests are executed correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and pass
  • Assist with running food during peak periods
  • Support kitchen and service teams with problem-solving during busy shifts
