Job Requirements
- At least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- At least 18 years old for bike delivery
- Valid driver's license for car and scooter delivery
- State-issued ID for all delivery methods
- Provide Social Security Number for background check
- Access to a 2-door vehicle or larger for car delivery
- Must comply with city-specific vehicle regulations
Job Qualifications
- No previous delivery experience required
- familiarity with the local delivery area preferred
- ability to use a smartphone and delivery app
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- basic knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving or biking practices
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants and retail stores
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- follow designated routes and delivery instructions
- maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers
- use the Postmates/Uber app to manage deliveries and earnings
- adhere to health and safety guidelines including contactless delivery
- handle cash and electronic payments when required
