Job Description
Fooda is a dynamic and innovative company specializing in workplace food programs that aim to make every employee's lunch experience enjoyable and convenient. Headquartered in Naperville, IL, Fooda operates a unique platform that connects over 2,000 restaurant partners with companies and office buildings across more than 20 major U.S. cities. The company prides itself on offering fresh, chef-curated meals delivered directly to workplaces, transforming ordinary lunch hours into exciting culinary events. Fooda continues to expand its footprint nationwide, reflecting its commitment to revolutionizing the way employees experience food at work.
The Food Delivery Driver & Attendant role is a crucial part of this dynamic operation. This position involves not only delivering meals from restaurant partners to client locations but also managing all aspects of the pop-up food program onsite. This includes setting up the food station, maintaining strict sanitation standards, serving food to client associates, and ensuring proper portion control of products served. You'll also be responsible for breaking down the station at the end of service, keeping client spaces spotless, and conducting weekly inventory checks of cleaning supplies and small wares.
The role demands a high level of customer service as you work closely with both restaurant partners and clients. You will need to communicate effectively and escalate any issues promptly to the Popup Account Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. A key aspect of this job is being adaptable and tech-savvy, as you’ll be required to work seamlessly with various technologies throughout your shift. The typical working hours for this role are Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a consistent schedule with a competitive wage of $20 per hour.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values organization and attention to detail, and has a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The company emphasizes a culture of optimism, problem-solving, and high energy—attributes that are essential for success in this role. Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not mandatory, as Fooda values attitude and willingness to learn.
As a member of the Fooda team, you’ll benefit from competitive wages, paid time off, a 401k retirement plan with company matching, and a pre-tax commuter expense benefit. This role offers not only a fulfilling and challenging work experience but also the opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing startup that is changing the landscape of workplace dining. You must be authorized to work in the United States full-time and possess a reliable car, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance to qualify for this position. No phone inquiries or recruiters, please.
