Job Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement 18 years
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
  • Ability to complete driver and customer service representative training within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • Ability to maintain good grooming and hygiene
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and perform various physical tasks including reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling
  • Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and sanitation
  • Commitment to follow safety laws and regulations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 95 percent of the work time
  • Vehicle liability insurance in accordance with policy if driving personal vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully complete required driver and customer service trainings within 90 days of hire including defensive driving and GPS operation
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations as trained
  • Ability to communicate customer concerns effectively
  • Ability to maintain good grooming and hygiene practices
  • Present a positive public image and maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and food service employees
  • Train new drivers as assigned
  • Safely operate food service vehicles on designated routes
  • Comply promptly and accurately with all driver record keeping requirements
  • Deliver food to locations and assist with food service duties including meal preparation and serving
  • Ensure all items on production transport sheet and supply order forms are delivered and accounted for
  • Report vehicle concerns immediately to supervisor or manager
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicle, dock, production, and service areas
  • Participate in end-of-day cleanup, dishwashing, trash removal and floor care
  • Promote food and physical safety in the workplace
  • Assist with stocking, rotating products, and maintaining kitchen equipment and inventory
  • Adapt to variable working conditions due to weather, traffic, or route changes
  • Communicate issues related to daily assignments
  • Attend safety briefings and training
  • Participate in departmental quality planning and continuous improvement activities
