This role is an integral part of the Hallmark team, offering individuals an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing food service management company. The position involves preparing and serving high-quality food items consistently according to well-established recipes and presentation standards. It demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure every product meets the highest quality and safety expectations. The role also requires excellent customer service skills, as employees are expected to personally welcome each guest, make eye contact, answer queries about the menu, and create a positive and welcoming dining environment.
Candidates for this role will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, including adequate storage, labeling, and product rotation according to company standards. They must be knowledgeable about food allergens and communicate such information clearly when necessary to ensure customer safety. Additionally, the role involves operating the Point of Sale system accurately, managing cash transactions and change responsibly. Adherence to Hallmark Management Service’s operational policies and procedures is mandatory, including those related to cash handling and guest count reporting where applicable. Teamwork is an essential aspect of this job, as there may be an occasional need to support different stations based on operational demands.

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to operate Point Of Sale system
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provides quality menu items and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace storing, labeling and rotating product according to our standards
- Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products in our commercial retail operation
- Knows and communicates food allergen information as needed and required
- Ability to operate Point Of Sale system and handle money for change
- Welcomes every customer personally making eye contact answering any questions they might have regarding the products you are serving
- Follows HMS operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling (where applicable) and guest count reporting
- Supports needs for other stations as assigned
