The role of a Cook at SONIC Drive-In is a pivotal position within the Appetite Satisfaction Department. As a Cook, you will be central to the preparation and production of food orders, ensuring each item meets SONIC’s high standards for quality and consistency. This role involves operating multiple stations, including Food Production, the Grill, the Fryer, and other cooking areas. Your responsibilities will not only include cooking and assembling menu items but also maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the work environment.

An ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a flexible attitude to accommodate varying business needs and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Effective communication skills, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and basic math and reading proficiency are essential. Although previous restaurant experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory, as SONIC offers comprehensive training and cross-training across multiple cooking stations to keep the role engaging and stimulating.
