Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Level 4 Gaming License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more
- Ability to work in a noisy, smoky environment
- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must maintain professional appearance and grooming
- Ability to read and understand safety and procedural documents
Job Qualifications
- High school or G.E.D preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
- Ability to maintain professional grooming and appearance
Job Duties
- Delivers prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to venue guests in accordance with venue standards
- Performs necessary tasks to service guests, i.e., taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining guests dining area in a clean and neat manner
- Receives payment from food and beverage guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures
- Utilizes point-of-sale system, quotes accurate pricing, gives correct change, accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedures
- Clears all tables, resetting them for new seating, ensuring tables are set in accordance with venue standards and guests achieving a pleasurable dining experience
- Maintains cleanliness of all side stations, responsible for stocking dishes, silverware, paper supplies and any other required items
