The Food Attendant role at Aramark is integral in maintaining high standards of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation. Working closely with the manager, the Food Attendant is responsible for assisting with various tasks that include preparing and cooking food and pastries according to planned menus, maintaining fresh and safe food storage, and accurately tracking cash receipts and meal records. This position requires attentiveness in validating daily transactions, confirming meal preparations, and ensuring that all components are complete for each meal service. The Food Attendant also plays a vital role in upholding food safety protocols by following prescribed guidelines, handling culinary implements with care and efficiency, and managing temperature controls for food safety.

Beyond the food preparation and safety aspects, the Food Attendant assists with kitchen organization, such as keeping refrigerators, freezers, and serving tools clean and sanitary.
