Job Requirements

  • offer food service to customers in adherence to meal schedules and departmental procedures
  • use and upkeep culinary implements, especially knives, effectively
  • guarantee that a diverse selection of food and beverages are prepared promptly
  • improve customer satisfaction by adding decorative garnishes that enhance the visual allure of dishes
  • assist in tidying up refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving tools
  • stick to prescribed food safety regulations including cleanliness, proper food handling techniques, and effective storage measures
  • abide by prescribed uniform standards
  • coordinate daily menu preparation accurately with the manager
  • regulate heat levels of food to uphold safety protocols
  • maintain a neat and well-managed work area to promote cleanliness
  • implement proper sanitation methods to maintain cleanliness in work areas including steam tables and equipment
  • perform general cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and washing wares
  • keep garbage collection locations and kitchen floor spaces tidy and sanitary at all times
  • execute additional tasks as assigned potentially involving supporting various areas of the kitchen
