Job Duties

- offer food service to customers in adherence to meal schedules and departmental procedures
- use and upkeep culinary implements, especially knives, effectively
- guarantee that a diverse selection of food and beverages are prepared promptly
- improve customer satisfaction by adding decorative garnishes that enhance the visual allure of dishes
- assist in tidying up refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving tools
- stick to prescribed food safety regulations including cleanliness, proper food handling techniques, and effective storage measures
- abide by prescribed uniform standards
- coordinate daily menu preparation accurately with the manager
- regulate heat levels of food to uphold safety protocols
- maintain a neat and well-managed work area to promote cleanliness
- implement proper sanitation methods to maintain cleanliness in work areas including steam tables and equipment
- perform general cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and washing wares
- keep garbage collection locations and kitchen floor spaces tidy and sanitary at all times
- execute additional tasks as assigned potentially involving supporting various areas of the kitchen
