Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • food service certification
  • adequate education or training to understand and follow instructions
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • willingness to stand and walk for long periods
  • adherence to dress code and use of personal protective equipment
  • physical capability to lift, bend, push, and pull as required

Job Duties

  • Cook and bake food and pastries according to planned menu
  • prepare reports to validate daily transactions and meal preparations
  • ensure meal components are complete and accurate
  • store food properly to maintain freshness and integrity
  • provide food service to customers following meal schedules and procedures
  • use and maintain culinary tools effectively, especially knives
  • prepare food and beverages promptly
  • enhance dishes with decorative garnishes
  • assist with cleaning and organizing refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen tools
  • follow prescribed food safety regulations including cleanliness and proper food handling
  • adhere to uniform standards
  • coordinate daily menu execution with manager
  • regulate food temperature for safety
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing wares
  • keep garbage collection areas and kitchen floor tidy and sanitary
  • perform additional tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations
