Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or ged
  • 1-3 years of administrative or office experience preferred
  • previous customer service experience
  • validated understanding of computers and office equipment
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong digital literacy including microsoft office
  • demonstrated initiative and integrity
  • strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • leadership and management skills
  • ability to read and write reports and correspondence accurately
  • ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • food handlers certification within 60 days of employment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • high school diploma/ged required
  • 1-3 years previous administrative or office experience preferred
  • candidates should have a validated understanding of computers, microsoft office, printers, fax machines, telephones, and photocopiers
  • shows initiative, follows established procedures
  • excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • demonstrates self-development, and integrity
  • read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • strong digital literacy skills required i.e. microsoft office, excel, word, powerpoint
  • strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • ability to communicate both verbal and written effectively
  • ability to read and interpret procedural documents and write routine reports and correspondence using prescribed format and conform to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style
  • ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics
  • ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • requires management and leadership skills in addition to good planning and organization skills
  • obtain Food Handlers Certification within 60 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Displays polite, friendly, efficient and responsive spirit of service attitude to clients, coworkers and customers
  • trains workers in the performance of duties and assigns and coordinates the work of employees to promote an efficient operation
  • maintains an accurate recordkeeping system for production employees’ time cards
  • assists in the selection of new employees
  • implements disciplinary actions when needed per established policy
  • completes performance appraisals and recommends salary actions per established policy
  • supervises the serving of meals
  • inspects kitchen and dining areas, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met
  • follows established cleaning procedures and schedules
  • keeps records such as amount and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees
  • completes opening and closing checklists per department requirements
  • requisitions and inspects foodstuffs, supplies and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met
  • adheres to established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
  • complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal regulations
  • answering phones
  • responsible for filing documentation
  • communicates with clients and customers
  • operates office equipment like fax machines and copiers
  • consults with higher level authority for resolution of difficult issues
  • submits and processes invoices
  • sets up meetings, including preparation, and taking of meeting minutes
  • responsible for data entry and analytical work
  • provides clerical support
  • seeks to improve efficiency of daily operations
  • responsible for processing invoices and completing payroll
  • maintains timely, accurate and detailed documentation required by management
  • possess professional etiquette
  • outstanding customer service and interact effectively with customers, employees, and the broader community
