We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic Food and Drink Runners to join our fast-paced team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in environments that combine social interaction with a passion for hospitality. As a Food and Drink Runner at the San Jose Improv, you will be instrumental in creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. The position demands a high level of attentiveness to guest needs, quick and accurate delivery of orders, and an overall friendly and professional demeanor. The role requires partnering closely with bartenders, servers, and other team members to ensure service stations are properly set up, maintained throughout events, and correctly broken down afterward. Your responsibilities will include verifying the age of guests ordering alcoholic beverages to comply with legal requirements, efficiently expediting food and drinks as indicated by order tickets, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the showroom area. Additionally, the role involves identifying guest needs promptly, assisting guests in arranging safe transportation if alcohol consumption has occurred, and consistently suggesting improvements for enhancing service quality.
