Job Description
California's Great America is a premier amusement park located in the heart of California, renowned for its thrilling rides, family-friendly atmosphere, and exceptional entertainment spanning over 100 acres of fun. As a top destination for thrill-seekers and families alike, the park attracts visitors looking to create unforgettable memories amid world-class attractions and live experiences. The park prides itself on its vibrant and diverse team that contributes to delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, innovation, and guest satisfaction, California's Great America is dedicated to providing an engaging, dynamic workplace where every employee can grow both personally and professionally.
The role of a Food and Beverage Warehouse Attendant at California's Great America is crucial to the smooth operation of the park's food and beverage service areas. This seasonal position pays $21 per hour and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in inventory management, logistics, and material handling within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. The warehouse attendant plays an integral part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage and warehouse areas dedicated to food and beverage items, ensuring that stock is managed efficiently to support park operations.
Responsibilities include loading and unloading stock from trucks, delivering items to various locations throughout the park, and using a variety of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Attention to detail is essential as attendants verify receiving documents, packing slips, and records to maintain accurate inventory control. They are expected to report any stock discrepancies to the shift leader or supervisor promptly for corrective action. This role requires reliable communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
In addition to the hands-on responsibilities, this position offers a number of attractive perks. Employees receive paid training and free uniforms, which help ease the onboarding process and foster a cohesive team identity. Further incentives include complimentary admission to California's Great America and other Six Flags parks, free tickets for friends and family, and generous discounts of 25% on both food and merchandise. The park also organizes exclusive employee-only events such as ride nights, game nights, and free food gatherings, encouraging a fun and inclusive community atmosphere.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have full availability to work weekends during spring operation, with a preference for those willing to commit to shifts of up to 8 hours. The role is seasonal, with an expected minimum commitment of three months, concluding at the end of the calendar year. Ideal candidates are passionate about delivering excellent guest service, demonstrate a willingness to support colleagues, and have a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to California's Great America's reputation as a leading entertainment destination.
