As an F&B Utility Porter, your responsibilities will span from cleaning ceilings, walls, and kitchen equipment to managing inventory and handling waste disposal. Successful candidates will be able to operate large electronic or gas-operated machinery such as floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, and comply with all regulatory and safety requirements set forth by health and safety departments. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean ceilings, walls, and items requiring ladders
  • deep clean hot holding or cooking equipment
  • gather pots and pans for washing
  • maintain chemical detergents
  • scrape, wash, rinse, sanitize, and air-dry kitchenware
  • wash baseboards, floor drains, and hand sinks
  • sweep and mop floors
  • clean kitchen equipment including dish machines and refrigerators
  • separate and remove trash
  • handle biohazard cleanup
  • maintain inventories of linen
  • remove soiled linen
  • transport equipment such as hot and cold boxes and speed racks
  • polish equipment as needed
  • comply with regulatory and property policies
  • operate large electronic or gas equipment like floor scrubbers and forklifts
  • complete mandatory health and safety trainings
  • report equipment concerns to supervisors
