The Food and Beverage Team Member role at Six Flags New England is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who appreciate good food and a vibrant work atmosphere. This position involves preparing, serving, and selling various food items across multiple settings such as restaurants, outdoor food carts, and catered events within the park. Starting pay is competitive, with employees aged 16 or 17 beginning at $15.00 per hour and those 18 and older earning $16.93 per hour. Employees will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant and friendly experience for all park visitors, as well as delivering fresh, made-to-order food that satisfies the diverse tastes of a large crowd.

In this role, team members will greet and engage with guests as they arrive at food locations, take orders with a helpful and knowledgeable approach, and utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions efficiently. The ability to suggest upsells and menu recommendations is highly valued to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales. Preparing a broad range of tasty food items, from classic favorites like double bacon cheeseburgers and ice-cold soft drinks to indulgent treats such as funnel cake sundaes, is a core part of the job. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and safety by filling condiment dispensers, wiping down surfaces, washing dishes, and adhering to all Six Flags policies ensures a pleasant environment for everyone.

Team members will also assist in various areas of the Food and Beverage Department as needed, embracing a flexible and cooperative spirit. This position requires effective communication skills in English, the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during shifts, and a willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years or older

Job Duties

  • Providing an enjoyable and friendly experience to Six Flags guests
  • Preparing or closing food locations based on location procedures
  • Addressing guest questions and concerns
  • Greeting and interacting with guests as they come to your location
  • Taking guests' orders, offering suggestions and upsells about different menu items
  • Feeding hungry guests promptly and satisfy growling stomachs with fresh, made-to-order food
  • Operating Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, processing transactions and discounts
  • Preparing a wide variety of food items from double bacon cheeseburgers and ice-cold soft drinks to delectable funnel cake sundaes and more
  • Filling condiment dispensers, wiping down tables, washing dishes, and keeping all areas clean and safe for guests
  • Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
  • Assisting in other areas of the Food & Beverage Department
  • Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
