Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules
- Strong physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in refrigeration, freezer conditions, and varying temperatures
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to climb ladders and operate handheld scanners
- Strong interpersonal skills and guest service orientation
- Capability to interpret instructions and reports accurately
- Ability to remain mobile for entire shift
- Compliance with safety and security protocols
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or food experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food and beverage business
- Leadership skills including interviewing, training, coaching, evaluating and developing talent
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local adult beverage laws a plus
- Food Safety Manager Certification or willingness to complete required training
- Ability to utilize technology for communication and operational tasks
- Commitment to uphold ethical conduct, safety and compliance

- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales and guest engagement goals
Job Duties
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
- Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target's guest experience commitments and operations
- Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable and recognizing great guest experience moments
- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve and align team behaviors and execution
- Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals, including merchandising, pricing, sales floor displays, and promotions
- Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices, helping close skill gaps through development, coaching, training, and interactions
- Maintain a fresh, full and food safe area during all operating hours by leveraging inventory management and food safety policies
- Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends, leveraging store reporting and HQ communications
- Develop and maintain vendor partnerships to ensure brand standards, delivery and merchandising are met and areas are in-stock
- Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of team members
- Lead team to uphold and comply with federal, state and local laws including food safety, and brand standards
- Demonstrate a culture of safety through modeling safe behaviors, identifying hazards, and reporting injuries timely
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store
- Foster inclusivity by valuing diverse voices, being authentic and respectful
- Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
- Address store emergency and compliance requirements
- Conduct all other duties as needed based on business needs
