Team Leaders in Food & Beverage play a crucial role in planning daily and weekly tasks aligned with sales goals and department priorities. This position offers a starting pay of $27.00 to $29.00 per hour, with the full pay range extending to $45.90 per hour depending on factors such as labor market conditions, education, certifications, and experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail and/or food experience preferred
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
  • Effective communication skills
  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
  • Interpret instructions, reports and information
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
  • Climb up and down ladders if needed
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures
  • Capable of exposure to varying temperatures and elements
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
  • Ensure every team member is trained and consistently delivers on guest experience commitments and operations
  • Observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
  • Review guest, financial and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and take action to improve
  • Plan and execute daily and weekly workload to support sales goals
  • Lead a guest-focused, efficient Food & Beverage team completing daily standards walk
  • Assess inventory, food safety and presentation standards in backroom and sales floor areas
  • Establish clear goals and hold team members accountable
  • Partner with store leadership to influence sales performance and workload deliverables
  • Maintain fresh, full and food safe area during operating hours
  • Assign daily tasks based on workload and guest traffic
  • Validate progress on workload tasks and routines
  • Lead and demonstrate best practices culture through development, coaching and training
  • Conduct team huddles to communicate focuses and trends
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to meet brand standards and stock levels
  • Remain updated on trends and products to educate team members
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Provide backup support for cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
  • Become a subject matter expert in adult beverage laws if applicable
  • Uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards if applicable
  • Complete all required certifications and trainings
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Lead safety culture including hazard identification and incident response
  • Model physical security processes
  • Support merchandise protection strategies
  • Demonstrate inclusivity and create equitable experiences
  • Follow safe and secure key carrier processes
  • Assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities occasionally
  • Address all store emergency and compliance requirements
  • Perform all other duties based on business needs
