Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to climb ladders and handle merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to access all areas of the building to respond to issues
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or food experience preferred but not required
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food and Beverage business
- Leadership skills including interviewing, coaching and talent development
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
Job Duties
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
- Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and operational consistency
- Review area guest, financial and team metrics to identify opportunities and take action to improve
- Plan and execute daily and weekly workloads to meet department and store sales goals
- Lead and develop a team by conducting interviews, training, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
- Maintain fresh, full, and food safe areas by managing inventory and adhering to food safety policies
- Support guest services such as cashier backup, order pick up and Drive-Up while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies
