The Food & Beverage Expert role at Target is integral to delivering a consistent and fulfilling shopping experience by ensuring that food products are fresh, available, properly stocked, accurately priced, and attractively presented. This position requires expertise in food operations, processes, and efficiency to maintain the highest standards in the Food & Beverage department. Team members in this role are responsible for managing replenishment and inventory accuracy, enforcing food safety and quality guidelines, merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional signage. They also play a key role in educating guests about product purchasing, storage tips, and general food knowledge.

As a Food & Beverage Expert, you will engage with guests daily by offering friendly and informed service, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere and an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include adhering to food safety protocols, managing deliveries, organizing the sales floor and backroom, rotating stock, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with all relevant policies. This position requires adaptability, with no two days being exactly the same, and opportunities to develop skills in guest service, inventory management, food safety, and merchandising. The role offers a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times.
