Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
- ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- able to climb ladders safely
- capability to work in varying temperature environments including cold storage areas
- ability to work in areas with common allergens
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- work independently and as part of a team
- resolve guest questions promptly
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience
- uphold and maintain food and beverage standards
- execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing reserve product
- follow all food safety requirements and company policies
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products
- work with vendors to maintain sales floor displays and backroom organization
- locate and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to policies
- provide knowledgeable assistance to guests about products and services
- comply with all adult beverage laws
- properly use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and reporting hazards
- support guest services such as cashier backup, order pick up, and drive-up
- create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting as needed
- perform other duties as required based on business needs
