The position of Food & Beverage Supervisor within Azul Hospitality is a critical role responsible for overseeing and organizing all food and beverage functions within the hotel’s outlets. This role ensures that high standards of food quality, service, and merchandising are maintained to maximize profitability while delivering an outstanding guest experience. Working closely with F&B leadership and outlet teams, the Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supervising daily operations, promoting teamwork, and coaching staff to achieve exceptional service levels. Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operation
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures like freezers and kitchens
  • Exceptional leadership capability
  • Knowledge of MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operation
  • Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Excellent leadership and customer relations skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Good communication skills, verbal, written and electronic
  • Knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation
  • Ability to distinguish product quality, taste, texture, and presentation
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Ability to conduct meetings and maintain communication lines between staff and departmental managers

Job Duties

  • Support and supervise the hotel F&B outlets while working closely with rest of the F&B leadership team
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors and suppliers for timely rollout of seasonal food options
  • Participate in department monthly/quarterly/annual inventories
  • prepare and submit inventory reports to accounting in a timely manner
  • Monitor quality of service and product
  • Cooperate in menu planning and preparation
  • Conduct orders of food and beverage supplies
  • Stay up to date on brand requirements and changes to the restaurant
  • Ensure attendance at all mandatory meetings
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and staff satisfaction results
  • Responsible for maintaining high energy, positive attitude, and professional appearance
