Job Description
This position is being offered by a reputable food and beverage service provider known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences during the busy seasonal months from May through September. The company operates multiple food and beverage locations and is dedicated to meeting high standards in service quality, cleanliness, and financial performance. The organization places strong emphasis on training and developing its management team to ensure efficient and effective operation of each unit, while fostering a professional and friendly atmosphere for both guests and team members. This seasonal opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop leadership skills within a fast-paced, multi-unit food service environment.
The role focuses on comprehensive management responsibilities across several food and beverage locations, aiming to meet and exceed company goals related to financial results, organizational effectiveness, and health and safety compliance. Candidates will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of multiple units, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, and maintaining an environment that promotes guest satisfaction and operational excellence. This seasonal position runs from May through September, requiring availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous quality service throughout the high demand period.
As a seasoned or aspiring food and beverage manager, the successful candidate will excel in leading teams by training area management and staff members, monitoring workflow, and implementing quality control measures such as product temperature checks and proper food handling standards. The manager will oversee compliance with health department regulations and workplace safety, including enforcing the use of personal protective equipment when necessary. They will also be responsible for managing inventory accuracy and overseeing the timely and correct completion of product orders in line with HACCP guidelines. Utilizing operational tools like staffing plans, safety audits, waste logs, and deployment charts, this role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage resources efficiently to maximize unit performance.
In addition, the manager will ensure company policies relating to attendance, grooming, and breaks are consistently followed by all team members and will handle performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed. Minimal supervision will be provided by a full-time supervisor, so the ideal candidate must be able to take initiative and operate independently while maintaining high standards of communication and guest interaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience in multi-unit food and beverage management while contributing meaningfully to the success of the company’s summer operations.
