Hotel del Coronado is an iconic and historic beachfront resort located on Coronado Island near downtown San Diego. Established in 1888, this stunning 28-acre property is one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a massive $400 million renovation and expansion, the resort has been revitalized to offer modern amenities while preserving its classic Victorian charm. It features over 750 rooms, including cottages and villas, as well as 65,000 square feet of banquet space. Guests have access to 10 diverse food and beverage outlets including four restaurants, two bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining options. The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Hotel del Coronado is a seasonal position that plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences across the resort’s various outlets. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring guest service standards and product quality meet the highest expectations. This role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and operational oversight to create memorable moments for guests. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food and beverage supervision
- ability to supervise and lead a team
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
