Job Description

Shaner Hotels is one of the foremost award-winning hospitality owner-operators and management companies in the industry. With a portfolio exceeding 65 full-service, select-service, extended-stay, and resort properties across 14 states and four countries, Shaner Hotels is renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in hospitality management. Partnering with top hospitality brands as well as independent locations, Shaner Hotels provides comprehensive services including hotel development, design and construction, e-commerce, and revenue management for investors, hotel owners, and brands alike. Known for its dynamic approach and dedication to quality, Shaner Hotels offers a professional and supportive work environment for individuals passionate about hospitality.

One of the exciting opportunities available within the Shaner Hotel Group is the role of Food & Beverage Supervisor at Hotel Celare, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property located in the vibrant city of Cincinnati. Hotel Celare stands out as a modern and energetic destination positioned in The District at Clifton Heights, an area known for its thriving innovation corridor, cultural richness, and community spirit. Overlooking the University of Cincinnati and just minutes from downtown, the hotel offers guests inspiring spaces that blend contemporary design with local character—from the bustling lobby to the sunlit event rooms that open onto a wraparound terrace.

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Hotel Celare, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the hotel's reputation for outstanding guest experiences and high standards in food and beverage operations. This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing daily operations across multiple outlets including restaurants, bars, and banquet functions, ensuring that every aspect—from food safety to service quality—is delivered with excellence. The supervisor will be the go-to leader in maintaining safety and quality standards as specified by the hotel, Shaner, and franchise guidelines, while also handling guest concerns with professionalism and care.

The role involves mentoring and training team members to elevate service quality, assisting in scheduling and productivity management, cost control efforts, and guaranteeing operational procedures are meticulously followed. Communication is a key component of this position, requiring effective coordination between staff and hotel management to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. Given the nature of hospitality, the supervisor should be flexible, willing to work weekends and holidays as necessary to ensure seamless operations.

Hotel Celare offers a unique hospitality experience that blends creativity and connection, with culinary highlights such as The Vick Rooftop Bar and Iris Cafe attracting both guests and locals. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in energetic and innovative settings and wants to contribute to one of Cincinnati's newest and most vibrant hospitality experiences. Joining Hotel Celare means being part of a forward-thinking team where every day presents opportunities to inspire guests, support colleagues, and grow professionally within the award-winning Shaner Hotels family.
