Job Description
Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection is a premier luxury resort located in the heart of Napa Valley, California. Nestled on over 700 acres of scenic rolling vineyards and farmland, Stanly Ranch offers guests an exclusive experience that combines the natural beauty of the wine country with the sophisticated amenities and warm hospitality Auberge is renowned for worldwide. As part of the Auberge Collection portfolio, which features 30 unique hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs, Stanly Ranch has evolved from its roots as a working ranch into a vibrant luxury destination that honors Napa Valley's rich 100-year history. It is uniquely positioned to offer access to both the Napa and Sonoma wine regions, providing guests and residents alike with unparalleled opportunities to explore some of the best vineyards and cultural landscapes in California.
The resort features 135 airy cottage guestrooms and suites, each with outdoor terraces showcasing fire pits and breathtaking views of the Mayacamas Mountains. In addition to lodging, the property includes a rare ownership opportunity with exclusive Vineyard Homes and Villas that range from two-bedroom furnished accommodations to larger three- to six-bedroom homes. Culinary experiences are highlighted by three distinctive dining venues, including Bear, which pays homage to local farmers and makers, delivering a farm-to-table ethos. The resort’s Halehouse spa offers a variety of targeted and intentional treatments designed to maximize guests' potential and wellbeing. Beyond leisure, the property offers immersive experiences and thrilling adventures that provide guests an authentic behind-the-scenes look at the wine country lifestyle, making Stanly Ranch not just a place to stay but a destination to fully engage with the culture and spirit of Napa.
The Coffee Shop Supervisor role at Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection, is a vital position that embodies the resort’s commitment to exceptional service and guest satisfaction. The Coffee Shop Supervisor will lead and support a team of baristas daily, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality and customer engagement in the coffee shop known as Gavel. This leadership position requires coaching and training baristas, overseeing opening and closing procedures, managing inventory and orders, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, including Department of Health guidelines. The supervisor acts as the key point of contact for maintaining smooth operations, elevating the guest experience, and instilling a culture of teamwork and excellence within the coffee shop environment.
The supervisor is expected to uphold the resort's quality standards by preparing excellent coffee and non-coffee beverages, training team members on products, and ensuring that guests are served promptly and courteously. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, attention to detail, and the initiative to anticipate operational needs. As an ambassador of the Stanly Ranch experience, the Coffee Shop Supervisor helps create a welcoming atmosphere, answering guests’ questions, guiding them through offerings, and maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the coffee shop.
The position offers competitive compensation starting at $30.00 per hour, with individual salaries determined by factors including experience and education. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coffee culture, skilled in team leadership, and eager to contribute to a vibrant resort environment that respects tradition while embracing dynamic energy. Joining the Stanly Ranch team means becoming part of Auberge’s storied luxury hospitality brand, dedicated to crafting unforgettable guest experiences and fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace.
