As a full-time seasonal Food & Beverage Supervisor, candidates will join a vibrant team dedicated to these goals. This role is vital for ensuring that the hotel's food and beverage services run efficiently and professionally, aligning with the establishment's high operational standards. The Food & Beverage Supervisor position involves comprehensive responsibility for assisting the department with various floor duties such as food running, hosting, serving, expediting, and bartending. This diverse set of tasks requires a versatile individual who can effectively manage multiple roles to maintain smooth operations. Key responsibilities include managing and training staff, interacting with guests to ensure their needs are met, and addressing any customer complaints promptly and professionally. The supervisor is also tasked with enforcing food presentation standards, overseeing meal and beverage serving accuracy, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of hospitality areas, and managing cash handling duties. Moreover, this role requires hands-on involvement in opening and closing restaurant operations, ensuring every aspect complies with company policies and hospitality standards. The ideal candidate must possess problem-solving skills that enable them to creatively resolve customer complaints while minimizing financial impact on the food and beverage department. They must embody professionalism in guest and staff interactions, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability according to hotel needs, and work as a proactive member of the team contributing positive energy and orderly conflict resolution. Required qualifications include a current food handler's card and TIPS certification, a minimum of high school education, and preferably some prior hospitality experience. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift between 20 to 40 pounds. Job Duties

  • Assist in managing the staff
  • ensures a high standard of food presentation and that it is presented in a timely manner
