The Food and Beverage Supervisor role is based at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Fort Collins, Colorado. This crucial leadership position is designed for a professional passionate about delivering excellent food and beverage services within the hotel setting. The supervisor will oversee the operations of the hotels various food and beverage outlets, including the Bistro, ensuring compliance with brand standards, safety guidelines, and all federal, state, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing outlet budgets with an eye toward maximizing revenue while controlling expenses and maintaining adequate supplies and staffing levels. The supervisor will be deeply involved in employee management through hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations, fostering a motivated and effective team. This position requires responding promptly to customer feedback and trends to continually enhance the guest experience.

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, coach and counsel employees
  • conduct performance reviews, recommend discipline and termination
  • follow all brand standards and programs while managing the operations of the Food and Beverage department to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations as well as federal, state and local regulations
  • forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on the various outlet budgets and their components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service
  • respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience
