The role currently open at Chukchansi Gold is centered around supervising the operations of the Restaurant and Beverage areas assigned to a specific shift. This position is critical in ensuring that both Restaurant Team Members and Beverage Service Team Members perform their duties adhering to company policies, gaming regulations, and health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will serve as a direct support to Food and Beverage Managers by managing staffing, performance, and customer service quality in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a resort casino. Not only must this role ensure efficient daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of customer relations, but it also involves overseeing compliance with relevant laws related to food, beverage, and alcohol service.
The job requires strong leadership skills, as the supervisor will hire, train, evaluate, and when necessary, discipline team members in a fair and equitable manner. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- One to two years of restaurant or bar supervisory experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Appropriate licensure required
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and smoke-filled environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk frequently
- Ability to maintain consistent and regular attendance
- Ability to complete and renew Alcohol Awareness certification every two years
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Interact effectively with the public and team members
- Perform excellent customer service at all times
- Enforce performance standards, policies, and procedures related to restaurant and beverage operations
- Monitor food server service on the dining floor
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations on assigned shifts
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations
- Assist in scheduling and staffing adjustments
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance skills
- Promote positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service
- Handle customer complaints to satisfaction
- Receive payment from food and beverage customers
- Adhere to cash control policies
- Supervise restaurant and beverage team members including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining
- Manage inventory control of spirits and wine
- Ensure security of alcoholic beverages
- Complete and renew Alcohol Awareness training
- Provide emergency coverage in department positions when needed
- Maintain consistent attendance and professional appearance
- Usher at events as requested by management
- Perform other reasonable requests by management
