The Restaurant and Beverage Supervisor position at Chukchansi Gold is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant and beverage services within the resort. This position ensures that all team members deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. The Supervisor monitors the performance of food and beverage staff, enforces compliance with health and safety standards, and ensures the security and proper inventory management of alcoholic beverages. They also provide leadership in scheduling and staffing adjustments to meet customer needs dynamically.
In this role, candidates will directly assist in managing restaurant and beverage service team members during assigned shifts, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and enforcing policies fairly and consistently. The Supervisor acts as a liaison between management and staff, promoting positive customer relations and a productive work atmosphere. Responsibilities also include addressing customer complaints to achieve satisfaction, maintaining cash control protocols, and contributing to the overall success and reputation of Chukchansi Gold. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one to two years restaurant or bar supervisory experience preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- appropriate licensure
- knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and regulations
- knowledge of company internal controls, policies and procedures
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- ability to write reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- ability to work with mathematical concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret technical instructions and manage abstract and concrete variables
