The Supervisor, Food and Beverage role at San Manuel functions under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, and plays a crucial role in the scheduling, oversight, and management of the food and beverage staff. This position is pivotal in ensuring that daily operations of the food and beverage venues meet the highest standards of service and efficiency. The supervisor is responsible for the continuous improvement of staff performance and the economic operation of the department. Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management, food service, business, or related field
  • Minimum of two years restaurant, customer service or related experience
  • May consider related experience in lieu of education
  • Must obtain and maintain Responsible Beverage Service certification
  • Must obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
  • Gaming license may be required by San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to perform simple mathematical operations
  • Must maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and regulations
  • Must be able to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Must have mobility to move safely in an office and casino environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with day-to-day operation of food and beverage venues ensuring best-in-class guest service
  • Prioritize training and understanding of line-level positions to maintain brand standards
  • Collaborate with venue leadership to develop and execute initiatives to build sales, profitability, and cost control
  • Communicate and execute department-wide fiscal and operational goals
  • Ensure completion of safety and health requirements and food service standards
  • Manage materials, equipment, and facilities for efficient operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and preparedness of workspace and adjacent areas
