Job Duties
- Lead and supervise the front-of-house team to consistently exceed guest expectations
- ensure prompt, efficient, and elevated food and beverage service throughout all dining areas
- greet spa and restaurant guests warmly using Forbes and Mirbeau-approved service language
- maintain a thorough knowledge of current spa, dining, and room packages to support informed guest interactions
- promote positive guest relations, address complaints, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and urgency
- monitor guest flow, manage reservations, and optimize floor plans to enhance seating and service efficiency
- maintain deep knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards
- safely manage allergy-related requests and ensure all team members follow appropriate protocols
- support event staff as needed to ensure seamless service across all guest experiences
- lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
- monitor staff appearance, demeanor, and professionalism to uphold Mirbeau's refined service standards
- coach and support staff regularly to enhance performance and uphold service consistency
- recognize strong performance and address concerns through timely, solutions-focused feedback
- collaborate with HR and leadership on disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and fairness
- assist with hiring and onboarding of FOH team members when necessary
- cash out service staff at end of shifts, verifying sidework completion and proper close-out procedures
- assign and oversee FOH staff sidework to ensure shift and service preparedness, cleanliness and consistency in all service areas
- support staff with daily operational needs
- oversee daily FOH operations to maintain smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
- maintain effective communication and coordination with kitchen and back-of-house teams
- collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless, resort-wide guest experiences
- manage and review reservations for the dining venue
- utilize the POS system for order entry, payment processing, corrections, voids, and end-of-day reporting

- ensure proper sanitation and housekeeping throughout all F&B areas
