With a commitment to excellence and a culture fostering growth and opportunity, Thompson Seattle is a place where employees thrive by embodying the brand's core values of attentiveness, efficiency, and genuine guest engagement.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor role at Thompson Seattle is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable individual who excels in leadership and communication within a high-paced environment. This position primarily focuses on supervising the Conversation outlet, one of the hotel's key food and beverage venues, while also supporting other outlets as necessary based on operational needs and special events. The Supervisor will bridge the gap between culinary and restaurant operations, ensuring that service standards meet the expectations for quality and guest satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding associates, managing scheduling, payroll, and recruitment activities, along with maintaining operational consistency through quality control systems, checklists, order guides, and inventory management. A strong understanding of front-of-house roles, including floor and bar operations, is essential, as you will be leading a dynamic team in delivering exemplary service and driving revenue growth. Leadership at Thompson Seattle means cultivating a workplace culture of excellence where the team is inspired to perform at their best and deliver meaningful guest experiences that encourage repeat visits.
Employees at Thompson Seattle benefit from a supportive work environment that acknowledges hard work through a comprehensive benefits package, competitive hourly wages starting at $30.35 and escalating with tenure, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The position is hourly and offers structured pay increases after 90 days, as well as incremental wage enhancements for colleagues who remain in the role for five, seven, and ten years respectively.
Thompson Seattle is dedicated to equal opportunity employment, ensuring that all qualified candidates receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. This reflects the company’s deep commitment to diversity and inclusion as essential components of its success.
If you have a strong passion for the food and beverage industry, possess the leadership qualities to develop a motivated team, and desire to work within a thriving hospitality environment, this role offers a promising career path. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings, demonstrates impeccable communication skills, and genuinely values creating memorable experiences for guests.
