The Food and Beverage Supervisor position at Pacific Hospitality Group entails supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and room service outlets to guarantee outstanding guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards. This role is pivotal in providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to front-line team members to ensure excellent service delivery. The supervisor manages staffing and scheduling, enforces compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations, and upholds exceptional cleanliness and operational workflows. Additionally, the Food and Beverage Supervisor assists with inventory control, ordering processes, and monitors labor costs to support the department's profitability goals. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, and hospitality operations
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily F&B operations and service delivery
  • ensure all outlets are adequately staffed and prepared for service
  • monitor service quality and guest satisfaction throughout each shift
  • conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives, promotions, and operational updates
  • assist with opening and closing procedures
  • lead, coach, motivate, and develop F&B team members
  • train new employees on service standards, policies, and procedures
  • monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback
  • assist with scheduling and labor management
  • address employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service
  • resolve guest complaints and service recovery situations effectively
  • build positive guest relationships and promote a culture of hospitality
  • support achievement of departmental revenue and profitability goals
  • monitor labor costs and productivity
  • assist with inventory control and ordering processes
  • help minimize waste and control operating expenses
  • verify accuracy of cash handling and point-of-sale transactions
  • ensure compliance with health, sanitation, food safety, and liquor regulations
  • maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • enforce company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • participate in safety meetings and incident reporting as required
