Job Description

Azul Hospitality Group operates the Aloft Denver Downtown hotel, an exciting and vibrant establishment located in the heart of downtown Denver, Colorado. This hotel is independently owned and managed by Azul Hospitality Group, a franchisee separate from Marriott International, Inc. Azul Hospitality Group controls various aspects of hotel operations including employment policies, staffing, compensation, and benefits. The Aloft brand under Azul Hospitality Group is renowned for its modern, lively atmosphere and its commitment to providing unique and memorable guest experiences. The hotel's location at 800 15th St, Denver, ensures it attracts a diverse clientele including business travelers, tourists, and locals seeking a dynamic bar and food scene.

The position available is for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at the W XYZ® Bar, a key hotspot within the Aloft Denver Downtown hotel. This is a full-time, non-management, working supervisor role that emphasizes direct involvement in bar operations combined with leadership responsibilities. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is tasked with leading the bar's day-to-day activities, including jump-starting bar service through hands-on involvement when necessary. This role also oversees the light food offerings, ensuring high-quality service and an exceptional guest experience.

Moreover, the supervisor works closely with the hotel's Sales team to facilitate the seamless execution of meetings and catering events, adding value to guest services and driving revenue growth. Creativity and energy are highly valued in this position, as the Food & Beverage Supervisor is encouraged to develop and implement innovative bar activations, happy hours, themed events, and foster local partnerships that attract new visitors and energize the venue. The goal is to transform W XYZ® Bar from a standard hotel bar into a sought-after destination favored by both locals and travelers.

The successful candidate will have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and contribute directly to the ambiance and offerings that define the W XYZ® Bar. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.00 to $26.00 depending on experience, plus the potential to earn additional income through tips earned while actively working shifts behind the bar. As a full-time team member, the supervisor will enjoy benefits such as paid time off, medical and dental insurance, career growth opportunities within Marriott and Azul Hospitality Group, and employee hotel discounts through the Marriott Explore Rate Program.

This position at Aloft Denver Downtown not only demands excellent hospitality skills but also seeks someone passionate about creating unique guest experiences and leading with enthusiasm and creativity. During the hiring process, candidates are invited to share their vision on activating the bar with special events, seasonal themes, local collaborations, and social media engagement intended to transform the W XYZ® Bar into a vibrant community hub with a distinct vibe. If you are driven to lead, create memorable experiences, and influence the downtown Denver scene, this opportunity at Aloft Denver Downtown is an excellent fit.
