Job Description

Experience the dynamic and rewarding world of hospitality with a leading hotel and hospitality group known for its commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. This establishment is recognized for delivering consistently high-quality food and beverage services in a vibrant, customer-focused environment. Renowned for fostering a team culture rooted in core values such as Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, this company cultivates a workplace where associates are empowered and motivated to succeed while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor role within this organization is a crucial position that ensures the seamless daily operation of all food and beverage outlets and services. This hands-on supervisory role is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency. Reporting to senior management, the Food and Beverage Supervisor leads a team by recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching staff to align with brand standards and the company’s core principles.

This role includes direct oversight of food quality and presentation to ensure offerings are appealing and meet guest expectations consistently. It demands a proactive approach to monitoring sanitation and safety practices, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and company policies. The supervisor actively engages with guests, gathering feedback to improve service delivery and strengthen customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role requires handling service during peak times or staffing shortages, demonstrating flexibility and leadership under pressure.

Inventory management forms a vital component of the role, requiring the supervisor to assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels of food, beverages, and service items. This position also emphasizes adherence to alcohol service regulations, including state, federal, and corporate policies, safeguarding a responsible and lawful operation. As part of the company’s commitment to sustainability, the supervisor champions environmentally responsible practices in line with the EarthView program.

Working conditions involve varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, and other movements typical to a demanding hospitality setting. The role is ideally suited for someone with a background in food service supervision coupled with hands-on server experience and competency with point of sale systems like Micros.

This position serves as an excellent stepping stone for career advancement within the hospitality industry, with clear pathways to roles such as Food and Beverage Manager and Food and Beverage Director. It presents a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, deepen industry knowledge, and contribute to a company synonymous with hospitality excellence and career growth opportunities.
